Use of personal data This privacy policy explains how Axelstories AS collects and uses personal data. Axelstories AS, by its general manager, is data controller for the processing of personal data by this business. When the daily responsibility is delegated, will this be specified under each point. This delegation includes only the tasks and not the responsibility. The policy contains information you have a claim on when information is collected from our website (The Personal Data Act §19) and general information on how we process personal data (The Personal Data Act §18.1).

Processing of personal data on our website The webmaster has the daily responsibility for Axelstories their processing of personal data of visitors at Axelstories.com unless stated otherwise below. It is voluntary for those who visit our website to provide personal data in connection with purchases. The ground for processing is the individual’s consent, unless specified otherwise. Axelstories is the data processor, and stands for the development and maintenance of the website. Information that is collected in connection with operation of the website, is saved on servers run by the supplier. Only Axelstores, EKH Grafisk and Play Designbureau have access to the collected information. A separated data processing agreement between Axelstories, EKH Grafisk and Play Designbureay regulates which information the supplier had access to and how this is to be processed.

Web statistics Axelstories collects de-identified information about visitors on Axelstories.com. The goal with this is to compose statistics that we use to improve and further develop the supply of information on our website. Examples of what the statistics answer are how many that visit our website, in which language/country our site is visited, and which browsers are used. We use the analysis tool Google Analytics on Axelstories.com, a free analysis tool that Skatteetaten (Internal Revenue Service) and very many public and private businesses use on their websites. This and similar analysis tools collect IP-adresses, among other things, that provide information about the behavior of the visitors on these websites. The goal with using this analysis tool is to gain knowledge about the demands of these visitors, so that the website can be made as customized and well-functioning as possible. An IP-address is defined as personal data because it can be traced back to a certain hardware and consequently to an individual. The information is processed in de-identified and aggregated form. By de-identified is meant that we cannot track the information we collect to the individual user. In a data processer agreement with Google, Axelstories has arranged that the last octet in the user’s IP-address is set to zero (0) while it is in memory. The IP-address 12.214.31.144 is for example changed to 12.214.31.0. (If the IP-address is an IPv6-address, the last 80 of 128 bits are set to zero (0)). Only after this anonymization process the inquiry is registered. The complete IP-address will not be registered at any time as anonymization is done in the memory almost immediately after the inquiry is received. In addition, IP-addresses are processed at aggregated level, which means that all the data are combined to a group and not processed individually.

Cookies Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer when you load a website. Saving this information and processing of this information is not allowed unless the user has both been made aware of and given consent to the processing. The law requires that visitors of our website consent to us using cookies, but it is enough to ask for this one time, as long as we don’t change the terms. The user must be informed about and approve which information is processed, what the goal of this processing is and who processes the information, cf. The Electronic Communications Act §2-7b. The following cookies are used on Axelstories.com: Google Analytics uses a set with cookies to collect information and report statistics about the use of the website, without individual visitors being identified for Google. The main cookie that Google Analytics uses is called «__ga». Information from this tool is not distributed from Axelstories to other operators.
